Since 2017, Fluency Tutors has become one of the fastest-growing English language schools in North America. Our head office is conveniently located in downtown Vancouver, Canada. Our tutors are Canadian! Many live in different countries in the world which allows us to provide lessons on days and times that are most convenient. Our English Programs and Courses can help YOU become fluent in the English language!

Our mission is to foster a dynamic and inclusive learning environment where students from diverse backgrounds can confidently develop their English language abilities. We strive to nurture effective communication, cultural understanding, and global citizenship through our engaging and interactive teaching methodologies.

Programs and Courses

At Fluency Tutors, we offer a wide range of specialized courses that cater to the unique needs of each student. Our programs include:

Grammar and Conversation English: Designed for beginners, intermediate, and advanced learners. These courses focus on building fundamental language skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.

CELPIP Test Prep for Permanent Residency and Citizenship in Canada.

IELTS Test Prep for entrance into international universities.

Fluency Kids Program for kids ages 2-12 to build fundamental language skills. Includes Math and Science homework lessons.

Business English for all business-related vocabulary, topics, and communicative skills.

Office Hours

Monday – Friday:  8 am – 9 pm PST
Saturday:  8 am – 1 pm PST
Sunday: CLOSED

 

Message from the CEO


Dear Students,

I’d like to tell you a story about the importance of believing in your dreams.  In 2015, my DREAM was to teach English as a Second Language. I resigned from a corporate position, completed my TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language) certification, and moved to Vancouver, Canada.

I will never forget my first student.  His name is Petr.  Petr had moved from the Czech Republic to Vancouver.  He was here only a few months before we met. Petr was shy and nervous. At first, it was difficult for us to communicate, but Petr improved quickly.

After taking private lessons with me for several months, Petr mentioned his DREAM of becoming a Permanent Resident in Canada. He asked me to help him prepare for the CELPIP (Canadian English Language Proficiency) Test.  He studied very hard and a few months later, he successfully achieved his target score. Today, we are lucky to have Petr as a Permanent Canadian Resident.  Petr’s dream began before he left his home country.  He was determined to learn English and he never gave up.

Often our dreams are fueled by the dreams and accomplishments of others. We can impact lives in more ways than we know.  I was so inspired by Petr’s dream that my DREAM began to grow even bigger.  In January 2017, I founded Fluency Tutors and began recruiting students to deliver English lessons locally and online to students globally.
