Refund and Cancellation Policy
This refund and cancellation policy applies to all Fluency Tutors online courses.
How to cancel your enrolment:
To cancel a course registration, students must email firstname.lastname@example.org between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm PST (Pacific Standard Time), Monday to Friday. You will receive an email message to confirm the cancellation.
Refunds for students who choose to withdraw prior to the online course start date:
A student may cancel his/her registration up to 4 days prior to the start date and be eligible for a full refund of tuition. Refunds will be processed within 10 days of the email confirmation.
Refunds for students who choose to withdraw from an online course on the start date or within the first three (3) days from the course start date:
If a student withdraws from his/her course within the first 3 lesson days of the course start date, a full refund will be provided for the cost of tuition paid. Refunds will be processed within 10 days of the email confirmation.
Policy for students who choose to withdraw 3 days after the course start date or later:
If a student withdraws from his/her course after the first 3 days after the course start date or later, the student must pay the full course fee, and no refund will be provided.
Rescheduling or cancellation of courses:
In some instances, courses may be rescheduled or cancelled, usually due to low enrolment. Fluency Tutors reserves the right to reschedule or cancel any online course within 5 days prior to the advertised course start date.
Refunds in the event of a rescheduled or cancelled course:
In the event of a course being rescheduled by Fluency Tutors, the student will be notified by the Admissions Officer and be given the options of attending the next scheduled course or a full refund which will be provided to the student at the time that he/she is notified about the course rescheduling or cancellation.
Refunds for students who are late or miss lessons:
It is extremely important that students respectfully attend all sessions on time. If a student is late for a lesson the teacher will wait up to 10 minutes before the student will be considered absent and thus will not refunded for the lesson. If a student is unable to attend a lesson, the student must contact the teacher a minimum of 4 hours prior to the lesson or they will not be refunded for that lesson. All efforts will be made from the time the notice is provided to re-schedule the lesson at an agreed upon date and time. This re-scheduling must not influence or interfere with the start of the next course or module. If the teacher must cancel a lesson, they too must follow this policy.
