Hi, my name is Annastasia. I’m from British Columbia, Canada. I have a bachelor’s degree in Linguistics and French. I enjoy reading, singing, and hiking. I also love to travel. In 2018, I moved to Tokyo and spent a year there teaching English to children and adults. I taught classes both online and in person.  I have taught ESL for 7 years in Canada and Japan and have worked with new immigrants to Canada and international university students. I have a TESOL certificate and I am also certified to teach CELPIP. I have experience creating curriculum for online ESL classes and teaching IELTS prep courses. I believe in preparing students to take the CELPIP exam by helping them understand the requirements and figuring out their strengths and weaknesses to allow them to be efficient in their preparation.  I also think it’s important to practice the different sections in the same type of environment that the test would be given in so that students know what to expect on test day.
