TASK 1 and TASK 2

Instructions:

Task 1: Write an Email

You recently stayed at a hotel for a few nights.  The staff at the hotel were unprofessional. It was the worst service you have ever received at a hotel.

Write an email (150 – 200 words) to the hotel manager.  Include the following in your email:

• When you stayed at the hotel, for how long, and why.
• Examples of the service you received.
• How you feel about the hotel and its staff.

Task 2: Respond to a Survey

The President of the college you attend is planning to improve the college. He has asked students for their opinions on the following two options:

Option A:
Computer Centre:  Free for students to use the computers and print out documents. Open daily from 7 am to 8 pm.

Option B:
Shopping Area:  with a grocery store, bookstore and a café.

Write 150 – 200 words. Include the following in your response:

• Your choice (Option A or Option B).
• Why your choice is better than the other option.
• Problems or issues with the other option.
